LAGHMAN, Feb. 28 - NATO's military convoy of tanks traveling on Jalalabad-Kabul highway came under a surprise attack from Mujahideen of the Islamic Emirate between Daruntah and Kach areas of Qarghaui district of Laghman, on Sunday morning.
Two of the NATO's armored tanks were hit by rocket strikes, destroying the tanks and killing the soldiers inside.
Soon after the attack the the highway was closed to the traffic by the enemy to evacuate the dead and the wounded from the area.
Also Sunday, Mujahideen fired missiles at the U.S. military campaign in Qarghaui district of this province causing the Americans considerable loss of life and materials.
