10 soldiers killed, U.S. MRAP hit by mine blast in Khost

KHOST, Mar. 12 - Mujahideen of the Islamic Emirate, in a surprise attack, killed ten Afghan soldiers along with some road making engineers traveling in military convoy on the road leading into Manduzu district, in Akew area of Nadir Shah Kowt district of Khost province, on Thursday.

In another news, elsewhere in Khost province, a U.S MRAP tank equipped with mine-clearing plow traveling in front of the U.S military convoy was blown apart by a Mujahideen planted mine in Ali Sher district of this province on the same day.
