Eight policemen including commander killed in Paktia

PAKTIA, Mar. 12 - Mujahideen of the Islamic Emirate, during an attack on an outpost of Afghan police force, killed 4 policemen on Thursday, in Gardiz, capital of Paktia.

According to the report from the region, a gun battle took place that lasted about an hour, in which the Mujahideen completely took over the outpost from the enemy.

The report added after a short while, commander Dust Muhammad along with the 4 soldiers from auxiliary unit of provincial army who were trying to arrive at the site were killed when their vehicle hit a planted mine midway to the battleground.

However, the Mujahideen seized some amount of ammo and 4 Kalashnikov rifles during the operation.
