According to reports a martyrdom-seeking Mujahid, Nasratullah, exploded his truck packed with kg 3,000 TNT in Murghai military campaign in a Campaign Base in Barmal district of Paktika province. 40 foreign and internal hireling soldiers are reported to have been killed in the explosion. The soldiers were standing near logistical containers and erected tents when the explosion took place. On the basis of the report, the invading enemy had heavy life and material losses. All vehicles parked in the campaign were destroyed.
Another report from the neighboring Khust province says that a martyrdom-seeking Mujahid of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan either killed or wounded 25 American invading soldiers during an attack in Ali Shir district of Khustr province.
American army spokesmen also affirmed death of their two soldiers in the incident.
