Islamic Army in Afghanistan Operations (March 17 2010)

Mujahideen operations against the enemies of Islam terrorists in Afghanistan are reported to Theunjustmedia.com by the official Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan spokesmen Qari Muhammad Yousuf and Zabihullah Mujahid by e-mails.

* U.S invaders base attacked in Kunar, 3 Americans killed and a dozen wounded At least three American soldiers were killed and some injured in Kunar's Manugi district during a gun battle with Mujahideen, on Wednesday, Mar. 17, 2010. The report says the gunfight which erupted after the Mujahideen attacked the U.S base in the area inflicted heavy losses on the Americans besides killing and wounding a number of the Americans. No Mujahid is reported to have been harmed during the clash which lasted about an hour. Reported by Zabihullah Mujahid

* Mujahideen overrun three border police outposts in Nangarhar Mujahideen of the Islamic Emirate carried out a series of attacks on the border police outposts located in the border areas of the province's Shah Kowt district. According to the report from the area, Mujahideen captured three outposts from the enemy, seizing 1 (75)mm artillery piece, some heavy machine guns, 2 mortar rounds and a number of Kalashnikov rifles. Reportedly, the enemy have sustained losses of life and injuries during the attacks, however, there are no further details to confirm the death and injury toll of the enemy. * Three invading terrorists killed in Badakhshan Some three foreign national were killed with their three Afghan fellows on Wednesday, Mar. 17, when their vehicle struck a roadside bomb blast on the road between Takhar and this province, in Sabzi Bahar area of Arku district, Badakhshan province. However, the nationality of those killed in the bombing is unclear yet. Reported by Zabihullah Mujahid

* Three oil trucks torched, two destroyed in Wardag On early Wednesday, three fuel trucks were burned down and another two vehicles were badly damaged while traveling in a convoy carrying logistical supplies and fuel to NATO and U.S troops when a the convoy got waylaid by Mujahideen on the road between Kandahar and Kabul, near the center of province's Sayedabad district. The road has been blocked off by Mujahideen to any convoy movement of enemy. Reported by Zabihullah Mujahid

* Remote-controlled bomb blows apart Afghan police vehicle in Kandahar About 4 policemen including a commander were killed and thee other seriously wounded in a bomb blast detonated by remotely controlled device in Kandahar's Dandu district, on Wednesday, Mar. 17, 2010. The blast occurred in front of the house of Ahmad Nazik, district governor of this district. Reported by Qari Muhammad Yousuf

* Fierce fighting going on in Lashkar Gah city A recent report from Helmand province indicates that UNAMA branch office located in the center of Laskar Gah, capital of Helmand province came under on attack on Wednesday, Mar. 17, 2010. The report adds the attack was launched in the morning hours of the day by 5 martyrdom-seeking Mujahideen of Islamic Emirate who armed with explosives-filled vests and heavy and small arms entered UNAMA office in this city. * Mujahideen kill 3 American in encounter in Badghis, injure two Mujahideen of the Islamic Emirate, in an encounter with the U.S invaders in Bala Murghab district of Badghis province, killed three American terrorists and wounded another two, on Tuesday, Mar. 16, 2010. According to the report from the region, the confrontation occurred while the U.S soldiers were on an assault mission against Mujahideen near the center of this district. No Mujahids have been harmed during the one-hour long clash, however, the locals said, the area had been bombed by the enemy's fighter jets and attack helicopters causing the civilians heavy losses of material and life. * More deadly losses inflicted on joint U.S-led and Afghan troops in Marjah As many as seven Afghan soldiers were killed on Tuesday, Mar. 16, 2010, as their vehicle struck a roadside bomb blast on the road leading to Khalifah Muhammad Shah area in the town of Marjah, Nad Ali district of Helmand Provence, in the early morning hours of the day. Later in the morning, an American soldiers was killed and two were seriously wounded during an encounter with Mujahideen of the Islamic Emirate in Ibadullah Qulfa area of Marjah.

Also Tuesday, Mujahideen killed 2 Afghan soldiers and wounded another in an ambush attack in the early noon hours of the day, near Yazdah area of Marjah. Meanwhile, Mujahideen, in a guerrilla attack killed a coalition soldier and wounded another two in Alizai Char Rahi area of Marjah, on Tuesday noon.

Likewise, in the noon hours of the same day, elsewhere a tank of the U.S-led coalition troops got hit by roadside bomb blast between Ibadullah Qulf and Kariz Sadi areas of Marjah. With the advance of the summer season, Mujahideen have sped up their operations and attacks, capturing some strategic points from the U.S.-coalition troops, and they will, inshaallah, make further progress. These operations were part of new Nasrat (Victory) operations plan, which was declared by Amir-ul-Momineen (Leader of the Believers) Mullah Mohammad Omar Mujahid (May Allah preserve him), leader of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan.
