HELMAND, Feb. 16 - Mujahideen of the Islamic Emirate Tuesday launched an attack on U.S soldiers surrounded by the Mujahideen who have closed off all the escape routes of the U.S soldiers in Kariz Sadi and Awbu Zwandu areas in Marjah.
About 3 Americans were killed and 2 injured during the 3-hour long fighting, while a Mujahid embraced martyrdom when the U.S helicopter bombed the areas heavily.
Also Tuesday, a roadside bomb tore apart a U.S tank in Karu Charahi of Marjah, killing the soldiers inside the tank.
