Clash breaks out in Badghis as Spanish tank hits landmine

BADGHIS, Feb. 01 - In the Sangi Atash district of Badghis province, a roadside bomb hit a tank of the Spanish troops on Monday while they were on an operation against Mujahideen who immediately attacked the Spanish on foot soldiers prompting a battle that lasted about two hours.

According to the report from the area, the Spanish troops sustained loss of life and injuries during the encounter which occurred near the center of this district, however, there are no details of their casualties yet.
