Taliban speeds up attacks against foreign troops on New Year's eve

KABUL, Dec. 31 (Xinhua) -- As the world and the NATO-led International Security Assistance Force (ISAF) are preparing to celebrate the new year of 2010, Taliban insurgents have intensified attacks on the troops.

The militias in the latest wave of violent attacks carried out double deadly bombings in the southern Kandahar and eastern Khost province Wednesday killing over a dozen American and Canadian service members.

In the first attack against NATO-led forces in Kandahar province, according to a statement released by the military alliance, five Canadians including a journalist were killed.

"Four ISAF soldiers from Canada and one Canadian reporter were killed in an Improvised Explosive Device (IED) strike in Kandahar province on Dec. 30," the statement noted.

"We are deeply saddened by this tragic loss of life," ISAF spokesman Jane Campbell said in another statement.

More than 2,800 Canadian troops have been stationed in Afghanistan within the framework of NATO-led ISAF troops to help strengthen security in the post-Taliban nation.

Canada, where the public support for war in Afghanistan is sliding down, has reportedly lost 138 service members in war-torn Afghanistan since it started deploying troops there in 2002.

The second deadly attack occurred in the eastern Khost province Wednesday left eight Americans dead.

All those killed in the bloody blast were intelligence personnel affiliated with the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) or contractors, according to media reports.

Penetration into intelligence base and blasting it speak of militants' ability in conducting organized attacks, some local analysts said.

Taliban spokesman Zabihullah Mujahid in talks to media via cellular phone from undisclosed locations claimed for responsibility of the Khost attack, detailing that a militant wearing Afghan army uniform moved inside the base and blew himself up killing some 20 service members.

Taliban, in a statement released Thursday to media from an unknown location, vowed to further intensify their attacks against international troops in Afghanistan.

In the statement released in broken English, the militants expressed satisfaction over what it described successful attacks against foreign forces and vowed to speed up their activities in the new year of 2010, which begins on Friday.

"The Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan would in the year 2010 force all the foreign occupation forces and the arrogant and hostile White House rulers to withdraw from Afghanistan as quickly as possible," the statement said.

Remarks of Z. Mujahid, Spokesman of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, Regarding the Invaders Recent Brutalities

Afghan resistance statement
Remarks of Z. Mujahid, Spokesman of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, Regarding the Invaders Recent Brutalities
Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan

December 17, 2009

The public of the world, particularly, our country men know that the invading forces usually detain miserable Afghans under various pretexts and then mercilessly torture them. These atrocities have been continuing at the hand of the invaders for the past eight years. Besides these, there are other savageries being committed by the invading forces. Even mass murder has been committed by the cut- throat troops. But the so-called advocates of the human rights and the international community have always turned a blind eye to all these crimes. They have never put out a protest nor issued any word of condemnation, despite that the atrocities have been continuing unabatedly. Here, we present our readers with facts about the following gruesome events:

On October 22, foreign invaders killed two Afghan prisoners and put their dead bodies near Kikorak Shrine in Sabari district. Earlier, the brutal invaders had arrested them in Sara Bagh during a night raid on their houses. One week before this gruesome incident, foreign invaders in Khost, had detained Haji Badshah Khan, a resident of Bak district. They killed him pointblank and put his dead body in a dried river bed near Sara Bagh Bus stop. He had been mercilessly tortured to death by the callous foreign troops. A few days ago, the cut-throat invading forces, detained Nadeem, resident of Ali Sher district and Noor Wazir, resident of Moli area of Sabari district. They were on their way home, riding on motor cycles after doing shopping in Khost Bazaar. The invading American troops signaled them to stop and arrested them forthwith. Then, the brutal soldiers killed them at Khana Kandaw during the night and left their corpses there. They had been tied up with shackles and ropes usually used by American and foreign soldiers. American trained dogs had devoured flesh of their bodies. In Laghman, Kunduz, Zabul and Ghazni provinces, similar brutalities have taken place.

In our view, the cunning and coward enemy suffers material and soul losses every day. They lose dozens of military tanks as a result of face-to-face battles with Mujahideen. Therefore, they vent their revenge on innocent people, to create rift and hatred between Mujahideen and the common people intentionally. But it should be made clear to them, if the enemy resorts to such horrendous actions in order to weaken the morale of the people, so that they would withdraw their support from the Mujahideen, they are wrong. Their inhuman actions will only give rise to creating sensitivities against the invaders and they will face a shameful defeat with the passage of time.

The Afghans have never subjugated by foreign invaders throughout the history nor have they accepted existence of foreign invaders on their soil. They have always struggled in the way of freedom and succeeded, in the long run, in liberating not only their land but lands of other occupied people thanks to their self-less sacrifices.

The people of Khost and human rights entities themselves witnessed the dead bodies of these miserable Afghans. We call on all human right organizations not to remain silent over the massacre of common people any more and conduct a neutral investigation about the killings and live up to the expectation for what they have been established to begin with.

American War Strategy in the Words of Brown

Afghan resistance statement
American War Strategy in the Words of Brown
Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan

December 17, 2009

The other day, British Premier Brown showed up in south Kandahar out of a sudden in a press conference. He told the participants that Britain supported America’s new strategy because it was aimed at weakening the Taliban. He said, the current resistance in Afghanistan would spiral down during the next 18 moths and the Kabul Administration would take over the charge of security in the country.

With surrogate Karzai, the Head of puppet regime in Kabul standing beside him, Mr. Brown opined about his pipe dream and puppet Karzai was moving his head in the affirmative all along. However, both of them brazenly and shamelessly ignored the fact that they went all-out, using war stratagems, tactics and brutalities in the past eight years but availed them nothing. Now what is there being left of the tactics, ploys and bestialities that could be used in the coming 18 months which will give them the victory.

One may ask Mr. Brown, you were not able to bring about stability to just one province of Afghanistan (Helmand) out of 31 provinces of the country during the past few years despite your using all political and economic power? Have you weakened and slowed down the waves of Jihad and patriotism in the province? Has Britain been able in the past years through her use of its latest military technology and presence of ten thousand of soldiers to ensure complete control over a vast swath of land except a few districts?

Has Britain not designed a dummy Helmand at the cost of 80 million to train and familiarize her soldiers with the land of Helmand-- the soil of the patriotic and honor-loving men? A few months ago, nine thousands British soldiers, joined by the same number of American and surrogate Afghan troops, saw the bitter results of their military operations named Sword and the Panther’s claw. They used all their military capability in almost half area of Helmand province, but instead, they got caskets of their troops. They had no achievement except that. Now after the flurry of these devilish machinations that you used in the past what tactics are there left for Brown to talk about, hoping that they would be able to achieve a decisive victory in the coming 18 months?

We believe policies, strategies and roadmaps of the invaders are not acceptable to the Afghan people and to the public of the world. Announcing new strategies, the rulers of the invading countries want to put a clout on their fiasco and disgrace. Some time they announce new strategy; some times pledge to wipe out grafts in the surrogate administration; some time, they give good news of holding conference on Afghanistan in London, Paris, German and other places. Similarly, these callous and cunning politicians make unannounced trips to Afghanistan. The goal behind all these endeavors and shuttle diplomacy is to show to the world that they are still focused on Afghanistan.

But Brown should understand that in the last eight years, the Afghans have tested all strategies, slogans and sympathies of the West and America. A few days ago, dozens of civilians were killed as a result of blind bombardment of American aircrafts in Laghman province. According to another report, the brutal Americans have let loose their trained dogs to bite people during house raids in Khost, Paktika, Maidan Wardak, Ghazni and Kandahar. Later, the miserable Afghans were killed by the cut throat invaders. The Afghan freshly remember these horrendous incidents which ironically display the actual mercy and sympathy of the Americans with the Afghan people. Aptly, the Afghans know how to respond.

Statement of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan concerning thirtieth anniversary of Red Army invasion

December. 27, 1979, a time when the former Soviet Union invaded Afghanistan in violation of all international laws, a move that brought the Union of Soviet Socialist Republic(USSR) to its knee.

The Red Army executed Hafizullah Amin, a pawn, in order to replace him with a more loyal pawn, Babrak Karmal.

With the time going by, the Soviet Union troops steadily increased from 80000 to 140000.

At the beginning of the Soviet occupation of Afghanistan, the (KGB), secret intelligence agency of the Red Army assured the Soviet rulers of the takeover and total control of Afghanistan within the period of three months, for they had been under impression that the Mujahideen were with no status and position in Afghanistan and had no favorability among the Afghans and that they were merely encouraged by foreign enticement and efforts.

Three months later, upon meeting with strong resistance from Mujahideen and with their Islamic movement strengthening, the Red Army generals suggested a later date, that is, they would take complete control of Afghanistan and bring the country under their domination within one to three years.

But with the passage of ten years, the Red Army dream of occupation of Afghanistan and taking full control of the country still did not come true.

According to one of the surveys of the Soviet Union, the death rate of the Russians killed in Afghanistan reached thirteen to fourteen thousands, where as the other sources showed the death rate far more than the one expressed in the Soviet survey.

The Russian invading troops withdrawal, eventually, came as the Red Army was brought to its knee over the 10 years of their occupation in Afghanistan with Union of Soviet Socialist Republic (USSR) empire shattering and the ideology of communism being made fun of in old Moscow Kremlin.

By making sacrifice of 1.5 million Shuhada (martyrs), the Afghan brave Mujahid nation did not only drive the Red Army out of Afghanistan but also liberated several Asian and European countries from the Russian domination and colonialism; which the world, morally, owes it to Afghan brave Mujahid nation that, in the from of sacrifices and waging Jihad, caused the collapse of the truculent communist power.

Contrarily, the silly Americans backed by their allied crusaders, rather than being grateful to the suffered war-stricken Afghans and returning their favor, invaded Afghanistan under the pretext of fighting terrorism, in consultation with a couple of ungrateful so-called Afghans and believing their enticements and false promises.

The American invaders, too like the former Soviet Union, claimed to wipe out the terrorism in three months time.

Deceived by lies and false advice of their Afghan agents, the U.S.forces assured the Pentagon and White house rulers of the Taliban Islamic movement having no favorability among the Afghans, once crushed, the Taliban would be no longer in position make a comeback.

On the contrary, the members of the Islamic movement of Taliban and pro-Islamic movement people are Afghans, the real sons of this nation, the power that has grown up in the environment and milieu of this soil.

Over the past 8 years, the U.S. forces have been unable to wipe out the civil Jihadic power in spite of their exercising any form of barbarism, aggression, torture and imprisonment.

Moreover, the U.S. forces chief, general Mc Chrystal, with all the military power and assistance from coalition forces at their disposal, warned the Pentagon rulers of their failure in Afghanistan.

President Obama, under the pressure of pro-war generals of Pentagon, ordered 30000 extra troops deployment into Afghanistan.

One the other hand, the British lieutenant general Nick Parker now say, "We have lost every kind initiatives against Taliban who with each day passing expends their territory."

The Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan warns the American rulers and their allies, based on these facts, of U.S forces and allies quick withdrawal before the America faces the same fate befell the Soviet Union and being disintegrated itself.

Now that the U.S., despite having about 100000 troops in Afghanistan, has been unable to win the war against Afghan Mujahideen over the last 8 years, it is unlikely that the America will win the war and maintain their occupation in Afghanistan even if it deploys extra 30000 troops whose soldiers have already lost morale.

Therefore, it is the most sensible thing to leave Afghanistan to Afghans as it is the real home of Afghans who have witnessed the U.S. real democracy and the nature of their false slogans.

Furthermore, we consider it important to remind the America to stop depriving the Afghans of their natural and legal rights by making false slogans and promises tested by Afghans.

If the America is still bent on violation of the legal and human rights and values of the Afghans it should, then, get prepared for the collapse of their crusader empire and disintegration of the united state of America.

Puppet Regime Foreign Ministry Spokesman Complains of the Invaders Arrogance

Puppet Regime Foreign Ministry Spokesman Complains of the Invaders Arrogance.
Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan

December 14, 2009

According to www.afghanpaper.com, officials of foreign countries enter Afghanistan without giving prior information to the Foreign Ministry of the puppet regime in Kabul. Ahmad Zahir Faqiri, Foreign Ministry Spokesman says, foreigners violate all diplomatic and international norms and principles by not observing the laws of Afghanistan. He says, many of these high-ranking of foreign countries enter Afghanistan and visit their military bases without the knowledge of the central government in Kabul.

British Defense Ministry came to Kabul after visiting British troops in Helmand province while German foreign minister is still in Kunduz province, calling on German troops in the province. He is said to be discussing issue of compensation for the 142 victims of the American blind bombardment on September 4, this year which was requested by a German commander. The civilian causalities brought great infamy to the German government and some high-ranking officials resigned as a result.

According to the report of an investigation team constituted by the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, the Americans had used phosphorus in the attack which had burnt to ashes the miserable Afghans villagers.

Taliban bring order, say Afghans

The Australian

December 13, 2009

Taliban insurgents in Kabul are nailing night letters to the front doors of police, soldiers and government officials, warning them to leave their jobs or face punishment.

The militants are being welcomed in the Afghan capital's poorer areas by people who are angry over corruption and give them food, cash and weapons.

Safe houses and bomb-making workshops have begun to appear in poor districts close to the city center as the militants increase their presence and plot attacks on prominent targets.

"They know who we are, where we live and what we do," said Ehsan Anwari, who used to work as an Afghan army medico and now runs a clinic in Company district, where Highway One, the main road from Kandahar, enters the capital.

"Whenever we hear shooting, we think the Taliban are taking over the district," Dr Anwari said. "We are afraid."

Described by one police officer as a den of vice, Company district is a maze of tightly packed single-storey houses and muddy narrow streets.

The Taliban tried last month to blow up the house of Dr Anwari's brother, a police officer, after pouring petrol through his front gate.

The policeman grabbed his gun and opened fire. His attackers fled, but he found mortar rounds, explosives and ammunition by the gate.

"We reported it but the police are too afraid to come into these streets at night because of the Taliban," Dr Anwari said.

Earlier this year, the Taliban assassinated two army colonels as they walked through Company district. After the killings, many government officials left the area in fear of their lives.

Local people said they supported the Taliban because the police never tackled the criminal gangs smuggling drugs, running prostitutes and kidnapping local businessmen.

In Wardak, a Taliban-controlled province south of the capital, the insurgents last month seized four men involved in kidnapping the son of a wealthy Kabul tea merchant.

The kidnappers told their victim to pretend he was their nephew if they met anyone on the way to their safe house in a remote area. But Taliban soldiers at a checkpoint noticed his expensive shoes, jeans and leather jacket, and arrested the gang.

Four bodies were then left swinging from a tree in Maidan Shah, the provincial capital. A note pinned to one read: "The same fate awaits others who choose to kidnap for a living."

The Taliban caught the kidnappers, tortured them and executed them in public. The tea merchant donated $US200,000 ($219,000) to the Taliban as a gift for his son's release.

The story quickly spread through the districts around Highway One.

"It proves the Taliban have no problem with ordinary Afghans - they only have a problem with those Afghans who work in high government positions, who run crime in this city," said Karimullah, 40, who owns a shop selling flour, oil and rice.

As he spoke, two officials from the Kabul municipality pulled up in Toyota Land Cruisers. Karimullah watched with contempt as they entered the shops and took money from the owners. "You see," he shouted. "They take our money and don't give a receipt. It's not tax, it's for their pockets."

Obama's Repeated Strategy Will Bring in Infamy for America

Afghan resistance statement
Obama’s Repeated Strategy Will Bring in Infamy for America
Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan

Monday, 07 December 2009

Negative response by American Allies and Coalition countries to send more troops to Afghanistan, forced Obama to take up the burden himself.

It is because a growing number of America’s Allies now believe the Afghan issue has no military solution.

Naming it a new strategy for Afghanistan, Obama is now trying to make it a success. It is his moribund attempt to fix the situation and put a clout on the sagging morale that their troops are suffering from and cover up the ground realities in Afghanistan for some time.

In less than one year that Obama has assumed the helms of affair, he was compelled to frame a new strategy for Afghanistan once again. Their bragging aside, the ground realities in Afghanistan speak otherwise. They have no control over the rural areas which, in our view, this tantamounts to America’s failure and fiasco in this ancient land of the Afghans. Rationally, he should not have repeated his already failed strategy by resorting to troops surge in Afghanistan. Rather, it would have been in the benefit of Washington if they had taken their decision in the light of the realities on ground .

Though, in his speech, while announcing the strategy, Obama admitted that they are not able to bear the burden of the war, and that wars expenditures in Afghanistan and Iraq had exceeded one trillion dollars; he also announced that American troops will start withdrawing from Afghanistan after 18 months. But still, the troops surge in itself is a sign of enmity of America and Obama with the people of Afghanistan.

The public of the world know that Obama and America got only caskets as consequence of their previous strategy for Afghanistan, particularly, during the past six months, not a day has passed in the past months, without death of dozens of invading soldiers. Documentary commentaries and analysis by media reveal that the past six months were some of the gruesome and sanguinary days for the Americans, Britains and their Allies. During this period, the forces of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan gained more strength and expanded control over vast swathe of land in the country.

Obama wants to continue his already failed strategy in a new shape and manner by sending 30, 0000 troops to Afghanistan. Some Allies of America agree with the Afghan people that the domineering arrogance of America must break into smithereens in Afghanistan. The unipolar mastership of America should be buried up in Afghanistan-- the graveyard of empires.

Therefore, America should re-ponder over the fate of former Soviet Union which had sent more troops to Afghanistan than the Americans have sent to the country. Their followers and surrogates were more in number and war-hardened than the America’s but Afghanistan has always proved to be a graveyard of the world’s invaders and colonialists. America should wait this crucial time for similar fate in the country. History always favored this people with the honor of laying the cornerstone of disintegration and fall of empires.

It is clear that Obama and his team want to intensify the war in Afghanistan and achieve their expansions goals in the region through the use of force. However, they should ponder over their atrocities and savageries in the past eight years and what they obtained as a result except that they gave rise to wrath and resentments of the Afghans and created growing sensitivities against the invading forces.

The Afghans are war-hardened people and are on guard against the machinations of the enemy. They have preparations for a good fight with the enemy in every part of the country. We believe that with the help of God (SwT), the new strategy of Obama will face failure and fiasco like the previous one. Not only that. It will accompany great military and historical loss for the Americans. Inshallah.

Taliban kill 7 policemen in S Afghanistan

KABUL, Dec. 14 (Xinhua) -- Taliban militants killed seven policemen in the militancy-hit Helmand province in south Afghanistan early Monday, spokesman for provincial administration Daud Ahmadi said.

"Three Taliban men influenced a police checkpoint outside provincial capital Lashkar Gah opened fire on policemen inside the checkpoint at 03:30 a.m. local time killing seven on the spot and made their good escape with 10 AK-47 and a police vehicle," Ahmadi told Xinhua.

He also added that police later on launched a siege and search operation and so far arrested two of the culprits while the third one reached to Taliban base in the mountains around.

This is the second attack on police checkpoint over the past 24hours in Afghanistan.

The previous attack against police checkpoint in the northern Baghlan province also left seven police constables dead late Sunday night.

Cobra's Anger Will Lead to Great Regrets

Thursday, 10 December 2009

Last week, the invading and brutal foreign armies stationed in Helmand, launched vast operations in Nawzad district and a few other areas of the province. Since then, they have been prosecuting, torturing and harassing common people of this land of the Mujahideen (Helmand) under operations christened Cobra’s Anger. Still, according to recent reports from the province, the invaders have not gained any remarkable success, nor they have been able to destroy any stronghold of the Mujahideen as yet. Similarly, the foreign forces have not taken any area of vital importance to Mujahideen militarily. So far, they have been roaming in empty deserts. Despite that, they constantly claim of having captured kilometers of areas from the Opposition.

It is an immovable fact that the Mujahideen of Helmand province like Mujahideen of other areas of the country have given exemplary lessons to the brutal forces of the invaders during the past eight years particularly during the past six months that they should expectedly not have dared to throw down the gauntlet again or in other word to test the pious people of this land once more. But the moribund foreign forces want to show some achievements at the field because they are facing humiliation and taunt from their public and from rival countries of the West. They ask them why you are losing the ground in face of a small country, being under- armed and ill-equipped people-- still more your cutting-edge technology have been failed to hit the mark. They are now confused and unfortunately, not able to ponder over the results of their previous military operations.

Rationally, in the light of the ground realities, they should have reached the conclusion that their next operations will bring in nothing except failure and that ultimately, they will not be able to avoid their historical defeat or could not at least superficially save their face.

One can draw from their naming of Cobra’s Anger that the enemy has lost its hope of victory and is waiting for the day of retreat and route. Therefore, they are taking it on the miserable and defenseless common Afghans to present it to their people as a military victory. Thus they can tell people back home that though we lost thousands of soldiers in Helmand province-- the land of Mujahideen--but we also killed their people including children and women.

In our view, the operations now going in Helmand is a mistake which has already been repeated. All their ploys and war stratagems are doomed to failure and lacks to achieve any objective. In general, their military strategies are not practicable.

The barbarism and brutalities perpetrated by the invaders during the past eight years did not give them any victory nor did they achieve any tangible result. It is now for the generals and rulers of America and Britain not to push their soldiers into the mouth of death for realization of strategies that have already been tested and failed, nor they should shed the blood of the oppressed and miserable Afghans in order to conceal their eventual defeat. Still if they are bent on continuing their brutalities and want to vent their anger on the people, they will inevitably have great regrets.

Obama, following Bush Steps

Afghan Resistance Statement
Obama, following Bush Steps
Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan

Tuesday, 08 December 2009

This year, the Nobel Prize Committee in Sweden awarded Peace Prize to Obama while his being in the White House less than ten days before the nomination deadline.

Ironically, the committee chose him among 205 candidates to win the prize- still less not for any concrete accomplishments but for his inspirational words. It is pity that he will now receive the prize after announcement of troops surge for Afghanistan.

This year, USA launched vast military operations in Helmand in South Afghanistan. Ten thousand American troops and almost the same number of British troops participated in the operations named Sword and Panther’s claws. They killed hundreds of innocent Afghans during the most trumpeted operations, the largest ever after the Vietnam war.

As for the Afghans, they did not expect Obama, a Nobel peace prize winner, to flare up the war in the country. Nor the Alfred Nobel would ever have agreed to give peace prize to a person who is fanning flames of war rather than spreading fraternity and peace. But despite his warmongering approach, Obama did not achieve his declared goal of wiping out the Mujahideen in Helmand or realizing the take, hold and build strategy. Contrarily, the American troops fatalities were the highest in June, July and August this year comparing to the same period last year-- the months when the operations were in full swing in Helmand.

According to a recent report from Mujahideen in Helmand province and posted at this site, the enemy has only been able to keep the districts which were earlier in their hands in north Helmand. In the south, the writ of Mujahideen was restored in Khanshin, Marji and Garam Sir districts while the enemy could build only a single military base in a desert there—the only spectacular achievement of the operations. But they are not able to procure their logistics through lands routes. They have to provide logistics by air transportations. In Nad Ali, the invading troops were forced to evacuate the base, which they had formed at the start of the offensive. In Garam Sir, they are trying to beef up their former bases. No new base has been added there.

The British soldiers occupied some areas in Babaji, Pashak and the White Mosque but they were not able to retain them for a longer period in face of the constant attacks by the Mujahideen.

When their tanks and logistical vehicles come out of their military bases for patrol and logistical supplies, they become soft targets for Mujahideen. On the other hand, the roadside bombs take a high toll of the enemy, turning them into a graveyard for the invaders. Therefore, they use transportation planes for the supply of logistics instead of using the land routes. Thus they are almost besieged in their military garrisons.

According to a recent statistics, one gallon oil costs the invading troops $ 400 and annual expenditure of one soldier is almost one million US dollar. They have to pay $ 30 billion more per year for the troops surge recently announced by Obama.

But far from receiving a lesson from the failure of their military operations in June this year, the Americans launched another operation this week. It seems, the peace prize winner Obama is trying to implement the expansionist policy left to him as a legacy by W. Bush.

The aim of the Mujahideen is to have a free and independent country and Islamic government which represents the aspirations of the Afghan people. These are natural rights of people which has nothing to do with terrorism. But the so-called advocates of democracy and human rights are not ready to give these natural rights to the Afghans and to the Mujahideen. They are bent on maintaining their bases in Afghanistan like they have been maintaining them in Japan, South Korea, Germany etc. There are now hundreds of military bases in Afghanistan built under the notorious name of so-called war on terror. Every one knows that these bases are built in Afghanistan for the achievement of colonialist goals in the region.

Washington turns down the constructive proposal of the leadership of Mujahideen who say that the Mujahideen, as a part of their policy, will ensure that the next government of the Mujaheddin will not meddle in the internal affairs of other countries including the neighbors if the foreign troops pull out of Afghanistan. But still America and its Allies want to achieve their imperialistic goals under the pretext of fighting terrorism.

However, the word of terrorism is still not exactly defined. Who are the terrorists? Those who defend their country, faith, values and natural rights or those who throw deci-cutter bombs and fire Hellfire missile at wedding, funeral ceremonies and rallies.

Thousands of innocent Afghans have been killed in Nangarhar, Urozgan, Hirat, Fara, Kunduz and Paktya provinces as a result of American and NATO blind bombardment. Had they any role whatsoever in the 9/11 event? No. Of course, no.

The criminal aspect of this war is that, that the invading Americans have focused on Pashtun areas and their conduct of the war seem more like a Pashtun cleansing campaign. Still more, the word terrorism has not been defined as yet.

Or the Mujahideen who want freedom of their country terrorists or those who raid people’s house in the stillness of the night and detain innocent people, put them behind the bars and deprive them of their rights to have access to advocates and legal advisers? There are thousands of innocent Afghan prisoners who have, for years , been suffering in jails run by the Americans without knowing their fate.

On the one hand, the White House National Security Adviser James Jones admits that majority of non-Afghan Mujahideen have departed Afghanistan but simultaneously, they send more troops to Afghanistan. Against whom these troops are being deployed? Are not they deployed against the Afghans who want freedom of their country and a government based on their aspirations and religious values? Is this terrorism or natural rights of the Afghans? There are hundreds of questions in this notorious so-call war on terrorism!

Those with free conscience living any where in the world should come forward and defend their shared values of humanity which are being violated by an imperialist power insatiably extending its tentacles over countries of the world particularly over Asia.

Taliban warns Seoul against troop deployment

The Taliban has warned Seoul against sending troops to Afghanistan, claiming that the South Korean government had promised not to deploy soldiers to the country.

South Korea had around 200 soldiers in Afghanistan until late 2007. The Southeast Asian country pulled out its troops after Taliban kidnapped 21 Korean missionaries in 2007.

In a statement sent to the media on Wednesday, Taliban said the South Korean government had promised to withdraw its forces from Afghanistan and had said that it "would never try to send forces again in the future," in return for the release of 19 hostages.

"If they send their forces to Afghanistan and break their promise, then they should also be prepared for bad consequences," the statement said, adding that the Taliban "will never resort to a soft approach anymore."

South Korea announced Tuesday it will send 350 troops to Afghanistan to protect South Korean civilian engineers working in the war-battered country.

The South Korean contingent will be based in the Parwan province just north of Kabul for 30 months from 1 of July next year, the South Korean Defense Ministry said.

A cabinet meeting Tuesday approved the deployment and the defense ministry plans to send a motion this week to parliament for likely approval.

Who Is Responsible for the Anarchy in Afghanistan?

A Message From The Taliban

Who Is Responsible for the Anarchy in Afghanistan?

By Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan

December 06, 2009 "Information Clearing House" -- Dec, 04, 2009 -- Obama’s new strategy which is the result of the same mentality that wants to continue the occupation of Afghanistan by military means, will add to the anarchy prevailing in the country. In fact, Americans are responsible for the chaotic situation. They handed over power to notorious warlords, venal officials and mafia-linked governors;

But still, they claim that they want a clean government in Kabul while their convoys of logistics are escorted by some murderous militias involved in kidnapping and extortion of arbitrary taxes. There are hundreds of private unregistered militias in Afghanistan under the name of security guards who carry heroin in official vehicles. These militias have links with warlords who have hold over high government positions. They carry out their criminal activities with impunity.

The warlords usurp government and people’s lands and buildings. No one can ask them why. A government land in Shirpur, located to the north-east of the Kabul city is a good example on hand. Once a property of the Ministry of Defense, now it is a posh area usurped by the warlords who have built luxurious houses there. Karzai himself has granted 6000-7000 acres of lands to his favorites. Many drug-smugglers who had been sentenced to prison by court have been released by decrees of the President.

General Khudaidad, Minister of the Narcotic Campaign of the Kabul Administration has acknowledged in a press conference that US military officers had hands in drug trafficking. Abdul Jabbar Sabit, former attorney-general of the Kabul Administration, says he was not able to lay his hand on some notorious governors involved in drug-trafficking and bribery because they were protected by high-ups in the government. Ultimately, Abdul Jabar Sabit was forced to resign. American Secretary of State, Hillary Clinton, many times has referred to Afghanistan as a Mafia State but she did not say that the Mafia State was their handiwork.

Independent analysts around the world believe that USA wants to keep a corrupt government installed in Kabul because this will provide a justification to maintain American military presence in the country. Similarly, on the one hand, the White House Security Advisor James Jones says there are fewer than 100 Al-qaeda members in Afghanistan and on the other hand, Obama sends 30,000 more troops to Afghanistan. This high gap between words and deeds shows that America has other colonialist objectives in Afghanistan and in the region, ostensibly under the name of the so-called War on Terror. Furthermore, they claim that they want to resolve the Afghan issue through negotiation and reconciliation; but practically, they want Mujahideen to lay down arms and accept the Constitution conceived and framed by America and want to keep their bases in Afghanistan for a longer period. Thus under the ploy of negotiation, the White House wants to find a pretext to continue their occupation of Afghanistan.

The Afghans, particularly the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, has no agenda of meddling in the internal affairs of other countries and is ready to give legal guarantee if the foreign forces withdraw from Afghanistan. But the Mujahideen are not ready to allow foreign bases in Afghanistan or trade on the independence of the country. Ironically, after American invasion of Afghanistan, the country has been turned into a battle ground of rival intelligence agencies which are linked with the regime in Kabul and have hidden agendas against surrounding countries.

Bomb blasts in public places are the work of these agencies. The more the foreign troops stay in Afghanistan, the more such gruesome events will take place. In the present time, the Mujahideen are the only force which wants to release the Afghans and the country from being hostage in the cobweb of foreign agencies. With the victory of Mujahideen in Afghanistan, the whole region will take a breath of relief and the current bloodshed will come to an end. But it is responsibility of all who have free conscious to morally help Mujahideen to free the region from the vortex of the colonialist machinations.

Statement of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan Regarding Obama’s New Strategy

Wednesday, 02 December 2009

The American President Obama has announced his strategy after months of dithering. The essence of the strategy shows that the needs and wants of the American people have been overlooked during the framing of this strategy and it has been formulated under the pressure of (army) generals of Pentagon, the American Neo-conservatives and the wealthiest few of America and for the protection of their interests. Hence it is a strategy of colonialism aimed at securing interests of the American capitalists and it seems America has vast and protracted but wicked and hostile plans not only for Afghanistan but for the whole region.

There is neither a new point in the Obama’s strategy, nor it contains any solution for the Afghan issue. Obama wants to kill two birds with one stone. He wants to lessen the sensitivities of the Afghans about the surge of 30,000 troops through the ploy of ostensibly starting troops withdrawal in 2011. He also intends to decrease the opposition of the American public (to the troops surge) and encourage his Allies at world’s level to send more troops. But this stratagem will not pay off. The reinforcement will result into (their) fatalities. Similarly, the Afghans, the public of the world particularly, the people of America now know the realities and they are not going to be deceived by Obama’s juggling of words.

2. Throughout the history of Afghanistan, the Afghans have not been subjugated through deceits, ploys, materials power, troop’s reinforcement and military might of the foreigners. Therefore, the reinforcement of the American troops and other tactics will not have impact on the status quo. But the reinforcement will provide better opportunity for the Mujahideen to launch offensives. On the other hand, it will deepen the crisis of the American economy which is already in shambles.

3. The Obama’s assertion to increase and train more soldiers and police for the Kabul Administration is pointless and not result-oriented. The Islam-loving and freedom-loving people of Afghanistan consider the Kabul Administration and the forces working under this Administration as corrupt and surrogates of the invaders. Such schemes have already resulted into bringing in losses to the invaders. The Afghans and the public of the world saw that the more they increased the number of troops and sped up training the forces, the more the Mujahideen gained strength and spread their influence into the ranks of the (surrogate) forces. Furthermore, the people’s support with the Mujahideen has increased in parallel.

4. We neither have bases in Pakistan nor we need such bases outside Afghanistan. We have control over vast swathes of land in the country and do not face any problem about our activities and residence.

They raise the issue of our residing in Pakistan in order to distract the attention (of the world) from our capability and strong resistance in Afghanistan.

5. The Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan has frequently said that we have no intention of harming any one. Therefore, the presence of foreign invading forces in Afghanistan has nothing to do with the security of the world. Obama sometimes calls this war, a war of necessity; sometimes he calls it a war for the defense of the West and some times, a war being waged for the security of the world. These are his efforts to mobilize the opinion of the world in favor of this war and encourage other countries to support it in order to justify the unlawful invasion and use other countries for his benefit.

6. The Mujahideen of the Islamic Emirate have worked out a vast strategy and prepared for strong resistance to foil the illegal, anti-Islamic and anti-Afghanistan conspiracies of the internal and external Allies and counter them in every part of the country with full strength and put up a protracted resistance. The Mujahideen have high morale and complete readiness and believe that Obama’s new strategy will fail like it did previously. It will face fiasco.

We deem it necessary to remind the American rulers if you persist in your aggressive policy, America will end up being disintegrated itself instead of maintaining the occupation in Afghanistan. The history of the arrogant invaders speaks volume for this fact.

We want to point out that the Muslim people of Afghanistan want to lay down their lives and properties willingly but are never ready to give up their faith and freedom. You have already seen the reaction of the Afghans in the shape of national Islamic upheaval in response to your blind bombardment, brutal torture, operations and frequent reinforcement in the past eight years, you must wait a more severe reaction in the years to come.

Taliban claims French bribery ploy

French troops deployed in Afghanistan are attempting to bribe Taliban fighters not to attack them, a senior Taliban leader has told Al Jazeera.

In an exclusive interview, Saif-Allah Jalili, the Taliban commander of the Kabul district, said on Monday that his men have been offered gifts and money by the French soldiers in order to persuade the fighters not to engage their forces.

"The French in Sorubi [in Nangarhar province in eastern Afghanistan] tried to send gifts to Taliban fighters and offered them a lot of money in return for not launching attacks targeting the French troops," Jalili said.

"But Taliban fighters replied by rejecting everything and by strongly demanding the departure of the French troops and all other troops from our country, which they invaded by force," he said.

The Nato-led International Security Assistance Force [Isaf] has denied Jalili's claims, saying they are Taliban propaganda.

In his interview, Jalili also claimed that local groups being armed by Western forces to confront his fighters were in fact handing over the weapons to the Taliban.

"There are many groups that work for the Taliban and also receive weapons from the foreign troops through the government," he said.

"They are supposed to fight us, but these groups fulfill their promise of loyalty by bringing the weapons to the Taliban," he said.
