By Ahmad Bawadi
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful.
The dead live by their words, and what their fingertips have written. They live by the truth of their words and the steadfastness of their attitudes despite the demise of their bodies and the ascension of their souls. The words written by their white hands will endure and revive and awaken hope after they have sacrificed themselves, their wealth, their blood and their worldly life for the sake of what they wrote, (which emanated) from their firm values and deep seated principles in the cause of the Deen. On that day, although they are dead, Islam and the Muslims shall triumph through them. The people of faith will be glorified and the people of shirk and idolatry will be debased and life will be honorable and dignified. Their blood and their sacrifices are the fuel and the fire that will eliminate injustice and take away sorrow and pain. Justice will prevail and the oppressed will be victorious. The prisons will be emptied and the afflicted set free. Their will not be any loss of rights, and neither tax nor toll.
When the living are dead, although their bodies are still walking on the earth, they have no life. Their hearts are dead because they exist only for their own whims, comforts and cravings. They have collected the wages of their employment, the wages given for their sermons and fatwas, for their insolence against Islam and the defenders of the Deen. They were abstemious and the price was cheap: a few dirham or fame mixed with the blood of the noble and the free. They fall before the Lord of all creation in their councils and on their satellite networks while they are drowning in error from the soles of their feet to the crowns of the heads. They remove (people from Islam), mislead them and make them jahili. From their own mouths all who oppose them are foolish-minded or young. They speak of the good qualities of those who demolish the Deen, while maintaining silence over their wicked deeds and the tools used in their work of destruction. This is no surprise when they themselves are the subversive tools in the hands of those wreckers. Among them, the people of truth and conviction are people of deviation and clear error.
When the cowardly has left the land forsaken...only discredit and conflict will be sought when they are the ones who speak of the condition of the Ummah and the state of the Muslims. Islam and the Muslims will be humiliated and life will be one of ignominy and abuse. It will become nothing but submission, subjection and servility.
Countries will be occupied and the Quran defiled. That which is sacred will be sullied, the pure maidens will be raped and honor will be ravaged in order to revive from death Laka’ Ibn Laka’ upon the skulls of the innocent, the blood of the noble and the deaths of the guiltless. At their hands will come the day in which Islam will be washed away as a garment is washed away and neither fasting nor charity; nor piety will be understood. But they (will) meet a poor fate and come to a bad end, with the permission of the One, the Benefactor, as their wages for what they have done to the Ummah, for the blood they have spilled with their fatwas, for their silence about the truth and for the assistance they have rendered to falsehood. Yet, they will think that they have done well: “Is he, then, to whom the evil of his conduct is made alluring, so that he looks upon it as good…” Ibn Abu Dawud (he of the fitna of the creation of the Quran) lived on the blood of al-Bawayti (a student of Imam al-Shafa’i, may Allah Almighty have mercy on him) and although he was famed for his learning, eloquence and munificence, he was nonetheless of wicked intention and corrupt creed so none of that benefited him and he came to a bad end because of how he criticized, harmed and slandered the people of truth and faith.
Sayyid Qutb was one of whom it was believed that his words would be killed and their letters erased from hearts and minds. Yet, his words have endured as if they were carved in rock and stone. The words of those who attempted to destroy his honor and his writings, however, have died, even though they were seduced by his writings and his books. They stole from them and pretended that they came from their own thoughts. Allah has exposed them, disgraced them and sullied their houses. They are dead even though they are still alive, while Sayyid Qutb lives even though he is dead.
Sayyid Qutb paid the price of his words with his own blood. As for those who received their wages for their speeches, books and articles criticizing Sayyid, and those who stole his words and collected their salaries from the publishing houses, or promoted themselves and earned a reputation on the satellite networks by criticizing him: Sayyid Qutb is living even though he is dead and they have died even though some of them are still living.
Many of the sons of this Da’wa lived, and their words lived with them, when they revived among people the glory of the Deen, and it was accepted and resonated. The righteous and the truthful gathered about them and on that day purity was not mingled with the defects of this world and it was not polluted with disturbances caused by whims or fancies or patchwork fatwas of favoritism. The Word of Truth and sincerity in counsel were the intent of the faithful. They lived and their words lived as beacons of light and guidance, and the people of piety and faith followed in their footsteps.
Other followers of this Da’wa lived, and they were held with affection and esteem in people’s hearts. When suddenly (this affection) it declined and receded and was taken by death and they suffered and sighed the moans of death. Perhaps someone will rescue or pay attention to it. Suddenly it becomes nothing more than a memory killed by its masters after they chose the life of their bodies over the life of their words and after they chose to live by principles and ideas of the West, the logic of the mind and the pretext of rationalism. They claim, to show favoritism for and to flatter the people of innovation and error, that they had changed their paths and turned their ideologies and ideas upside down. They shed their values and principles; and the secularists gathered around them. They became the boon companions of the secularists and the liberals and, by their words, became secularists themselves. Their pulpits were the MBC and IBC networks and they became jurists of beggary (fuqaha’ al-tasawwul) so that the righteous and true abandoned them. None remain in their life except some of the duped, the seduced; the secularists, the liberals and the democrats. So they have died while they are still alive. Their fatwas are circulated by the soldiers of the marines, by the vulgar; the men of surrender and treachery, and the people of defeat. They meet on the satellite networks and criticize those whose field is the arena of Jihad and martyrdom. Birds of a feather flock together.
Ahmed Ibn Hanbal (Imam of the Ahlus Sunnah) has died and the head of fitna Ibn Abu Dawud (of the fitnah of the creation of the Quran) has died and Bishr Mirisi (a Mu’tazalite sheikh) have died. Yet, what Ahmed bin Hanbal wrote lives and is redeemed by the truth of what his fingertips wrote and his tongue spoke. His words have been redeemed by his body when he was flogged, imprisoned and tortured by the executioners and his memory lives.
Ibn Abu Dawud and those with him died after they spent their lives in the palace of the sultan living on the screams and pain of Ibn Hanbal while they themselves dwelt in comfort. Their ideas and beliefs died with them and they have no worth except begging, injustice, subjugation to slavery and love of passions. How can such a worth bear any remnant of the truth? Ibn Abu Dawud died imprisoned inside his own paralyzed body which for four years did not possess the power to move.
As for Ibn Taymiyya, his memory is immortal, Allah permitting, until Allah inherits the earth and those upon it. He composed his message of astightaha, but the people of innovation and whim were not impressed, as is indeed the case with them always and everywhere. So Ali bin Yaqub al-Bakari attacked him; Ibn Taymiyya, declared him kaffir and demanded his death. But the rulers joined forces and incited the people, stirring them against (al-Bakari). He was reviled, cursed and imprisoned. They went to great lengths to harm him until they gathered with the mob against him. They struck him and did him harm until he was exposed and fled. When the earth pressed around him he could find none but Ibn Taymiyya, in whose house he hid. Allah has exalted the memory of Ibn Taymiyya and his message lives. His enemies have died and their ideas have died with them.
Those ones sacrificed for the sake of their words and their writings. They did not eat by them and they did not beg through the ink of their books. They avoided uncertain (shibh) and forbidden (muharramat) areas. They did not find their nourishment in the efforts of others or from reviling harming or slandering them. They did not accept a price from the depravity and pleasures of this world. They threw all of that behind them, as opposed to their opponents who – because they cursed, reviled and criticized the people of truth, faith and Jihad and because they favored the people of falsehood, error and deviation – are consigned to oblivion.

Response of the Islamic Emirate in Reaction to the UNO Recent Report on Civilian Casualties
Thursday, December 23, 2010
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful.
The United Nations Organization has claimed in its recent report that, the graph of civilian casualties in Afghanistan has spiraled up by 20% in the first ten months of the current year in comparison to the same period last year. The report is one among series of reports released in this regard.
The UN has not given information about the credibility of the original sources of the data but added that in the current year, 2412 civilians have been killed in battles in Afghanistan, 76% by Mujahideen of the Islamic Emirate (as per their claim).
This partial and politically-motivated report of the United Nations has been published in a time that the UNO is yet to respond to the reservations and concerns raised by the Islamic Emirate regarding the UN reports on civilian casualties. Ironically, the UNO has been continuing to publish such reports for the past years, accusing Mujahideen of having committed civilian casualties. The Islamic Emirate believes, these repots are politically- motivated and tailored to meet the interests of America. So its has demanded an investigation to find out the veracity of the reports. Unfortunately, the UNO has constantly been publishing baseless reports and is not ready to take steps to substantiate their credibility and trustworthiness.
Once again, the so-called advocates of human rights have raised the issue of civilian casualties for achievement of political and propaganda points but are not ready to tackle the issue practically and conduct investigation in this respect. The Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan believes, the recent report of the United Nation is based on figures, being their own guesswork, and, therefore, categorically refutes them.
The Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan is of the opinion that the release of the report is a propaganda stint aimed at concealing American brutalities. In the past nine years, the invaders have killed tens of thousands of civilians which tantamount to a genocide, which is still under way at the hands of the merciless Americans as per a well-laid out plan, particularly, it has been going on in far-fetched rural localities and villages in the past few years to terrorize people so that they will have to abstain from struggling against the foreign invasion and occupation of Afghanistan for the obtainment of their legitimate rights and independence.
The operations by the enemy in Kandahar and the night raids strategy of the American general Petraeus is an example on hand. As a result, thousands of civilian Afghans have been martyred, wounded, made homeless and detained. A great number of common people have lost their lives, as a result of cruise missiles attacks, carpet bombing and armed encounters during the Kandahar operations by the enemy. Whole villages have been razed to ground. Almost 50% of inhabitants of Dand, Panjwai, Zeray and Arghandab districts have been displaced from their homes and hearths and from their plantation fields.
The Islamic Emirate is intending to release a video film in near future about all these civilian casualties. This is an iceberg of the crimes which are being perpetrated by the American invaders in all parts of the country around the clock. Undoubtedly, the UNO authors of the civilian casualties report may not have bothered to have an inkling of what have actually happened.
We openly tell the UN, your report will be effective only in misleading those who are not interested in knowing the ground realities in Afghanistan. But the people Afghanistan have been witnessing the realities with their own eyes. They know pretty well the identity of those who are notoriously and historically known as murderers at world level; those who have built the walls of their empire on the skulls and blood of the masses; those who have pushed the people of Iraq and Afghanistan and all miserable and peace-loving people of the globe into the oven of war.
The Islamic Emirate believes, the release of these partial reports will only damage the credibility of the UNO. They have already harmed the World Body and it will further lose its veracity in the eyes of the people.

Obama's Annual Review of the Afghanistan Strategy Inflated and Wishful
Wednesday, December 22, 2010
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful.
Last week, US president Obama tried to show the ground realities of the war in Afghanistan distortedly in the eyes of the people of the world, the Americans and the Afghans. This he did in an effort to produce an inflated review of the war in Afghanistan and the overall situation there. He manipulated his retreats, humiliation and failures in all parts of Afghanistan in a manner to appear as being gradual gains and advancement. Two American secretaries of State Department and the Defense, were standing besides him as false witnesses at a ceremony held at the White House to unveil the annual strategy review. He wanted to show that the current year was a period of hopes and gains in comparison with the last year, saying they had had spectacular achievements both at military and political fronts.
In his efforts to justify the current American illegitimate and contemptible war in Afghanistan in a 5-pages review, American president Obama, could not produce or present any proof and reason to indicate a concrete and tangible change and advancement in the country that has occurred this year and which the world does not know as yet. American generals and NATO high-ranking officials admit that, that their casualties graph has spiraled up threefold comparing previous years. The Mujahideen have become more strengthened; their fighting manpower has increased; their media is now more effective and their influence among the masses has augmented.
As far as the political front is concerned, the public opinions at world level go against the current war of Afghanistan. Pressing oppositions to the war raise up from all parts of the world, urging the Afghan war could not be won through military muscles showdown. At the diplomatic front, this is an achievement for the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan. On the other hand, the NATO recent meeting in Lisbon and the decision to withdraw foreign forces from Afghanistan in 2014, itself negates the boastful annual review of Obama and are concerti proofs, refuting his bragging.
The public opinion in America and Europe, in general, condemn the war of Afghanistan and consider the strategy of Obama as being meaningless. Therefore, some close allies of America are determined to pull their forces out of Afghanistan until the end of 2011. Verily, Obama is feeling jittery on seeing the new developments and thinks America is going to face being left abandoned in the time to come, so in his annual review, he falsely claimed that another event on the line of 9/11 is in the offing. We should prevent it from happening and should not end the war in Afghanistan. This he did in order to compel his Allies to carry on the current war. Furthermore, a recent opinion poll conducted by CBC and Washington Post reveals 65% Americans are in favor of pull-out of Americans troops from Afghanistan. This has made American secretary of Defense Robert Gates run amok, telling media in reaction to the poll, the other day, we know our mission and vision very well and are not going to allow public opinion to get in its way.
Observers believe, Obama annual review of the strategy is devoid of facts and grounds realties. It is an inflated and fatuous propaganda stint through which he tries to hide his failures; distract the attention of the public of America and the world and keep the public opinions engaged in an illusive hope. But all are aware that the American rulers are grappling with deep worries and trouble and feel being left in the lurch. A clear example for our claim is Holbrook’s death-bed confession and his speaking of problems and worries in the war of Afghanistan and calling for its peaceful solution.

Taliban supports Afghan protest over Quran burning in U.S.
KABUL, April 6 (Xinhua) -- Taliban outfit fighting Afghan and NATO-led troops in Afghanistan supported demonstrations over Quran burning in the United States, a statement of the outfit sent to media on Wednesday said.
"It was a clear violation of the belief of 1.5 billion inhabitants (Muslims) of the world and should have called for a harsh punishment for the perpetrators," the statement said.
The statement added that "the Afghan people in the last few days showed that they would never remain indifferent as regards their sacrosanct but are ready to offer every sacrifice in their defense."
Issued by Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, the name of the ousted Taliban regime, the statement stated, "The Islamic enthusiasm, ideological conscience and resurgence shown by the Afghan people, as a matter of pride and satisfaction and commends the efforts made and the sacrifices offered in the cause of the Holy Quran."
In the demonstrations staged in several Afghan cities including the capital city Kabul since April 1, according to officials, 22 people including seven staff of United Nations have been killed and 143 others including a UN employee sustained injuries.
Some officials including the government of northern Balkh province Atta Mohammad Noor and head of Kandahar's Provincial Council Ahmad Wali Karzai have not ruled out the involvement of Taliban militants, saying the insurgents have exploited the situation to destabilize security.

Pak Taliban forms 'vigilance cell' to hunt US informers
Mar 28, 2011
The Pakistani Taliban in North Waziristan tribal agency have established a "vigilance cell" to hunt people suspected of providing intelligence to guide US drones in attacks on the militants, according to a media report today.
The cell, known as the Lashkar-e-Khorasan, has been tasked to identify, capture and execute people working for what is described as a "web of local spies" created by the US Central Intelligence Agency, The Express Tribune newspaper quoted its sources as saying.
The Lashkar draws it strength from the Haqqani network and the Hafiz Gul Bahadur group ¿ two Taliban factions that control regions along the Afghan border, the report said.
The Tehrik-e-Taliban Pakistan led by Hakimullah Mehsud has its sympathies for the cell and provides occasional "active cooperation" to the Lashkar.
Though the exact number of members of the Lashkar is not known, a source in the tribal areas told the daily it was more than 300.
The regions where the cell works are Datta Khel, Miramshah, Mir Ali and surrounding areas where US drone strikes have been frequent.
The cell was set up last year by top commanders of the Haqqani network and the Hafiz Gul Bahadur group, which have a "tacit peace understanding" with Pakistan troops operating in South Waziristan.
The military operation in South Waziristan is aimed at rooting out home-grown Taliban striking inside Pakistan.
"In the beginning, it was a loose network with members casually going out and trying to find out who is providing information to the US... It is more organized now and they are working scientifically on the counter-intelligence line," an associate of one of the groups told the daily.
An intelligence official at the Pakistan Army headquarters in Rawalpindi and local sources in Mir Ali and Miramshah too confirmed the existence and activities of the Lashkar but appeared unaware of its structure, the report said.
The US stepped up its drone campaign in the mountainous border regions last year to eliminate what US officials called high-value targets, including top leaders of Al Qaeda and their local facilitators.
The unmanned aerial vehicles operated by the CIA to eradicate Taliban militants in Pakistan's border areas struck more than 100 times last year alone.
Though US officials do not publicly comment on the drone campaign, it is commonly known that the UAVs target a mechanical chip on the ground that spies allegedly place at Taliban hideouts.

Afghan Taliban calls on Libya to defend itself from intervention
Sun, 20 Mar 2011
Kabul - The Taliban in Afghanistan on Sunday condemned the United Nations-backed military intervention in Libya and urged the North African country to defend itself.
The Taliban said in a statement "strongly condemn" the air strikes by the United States, Britain and French forces as an "adventure of the Western countries in the internal conflict of the people of Libya".
"We believe, the Western colonialists do not want a solution in Libya on the basis of aspirations of the people but rather have plans to weaken the Islamic country in a war of attrition and then occupy its oil reserves through a direct invasion," the Taliban said.
Taliban insurgents have been fighting in Afghanistan since 2001, when the Taliban government was ousted in a US-led military operation.

Afghan government next to fall after Egypt: Taliban
WASHINGTON — The Taliban warned Sunday that the US-backed Afghan government is next in line to get toppled by its people after the collapse of Hosni Mubarak's regime in Egypt, US-based monitors said.
Mubarak's ouster on Friday after three decades in power demonstrates that "many weapons and soldiers and much foreign assistance cannot keep a regime in power and that they cannot always hinder the caravan of 'hope and demands' of a nation," the Taliban said on its website, according to SITE Intelligence Group.
The Pashto-language statement said the Afghan people would rise up and overthrow the Kabul government due to its corruption and the "atrocities" committed by the United States in the country during a nearly decade-old military campaign.
The United States will eventually turn against Afghan President Hamid Karzai's government just as it did against Mubarak in Egypt, it continued.
The group also also urged Egyptians to form an Islamic government and to "foil the plots of the foreign enemies," according to SITE.
